Course abstract

The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to show creativity and initiative in carrying out a demanding investigation or design project within a specific topic area. Bachelor thesis is the final work of the second level professional bachelor study in which the student solves a practical problem on the machine science field . The student demonstrate ability deal with literature, to set a target and discover solution of engineering problem, summarize and systematize acquired results, demonstrate professional ripeness and competence unaided manage salient task.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

1. Knowledge - make deeper theoretical knowledge in questions, connected with topic of Bachelor Theses. Developed and defended bachelor's thesis in accordance with the approved topic.
2. Skills - can make marketing for designed product or technology, to discover necessary information and make analytical report, work out design and technology, make necessary calculations, as well as estimate efficiency of solution. Developed and defended bachelor's thesis in accordance with the approved topic.

3. Competence - is able to achieve and rationally use information, is able to create innovative as well as to improve products, constructions, technology. Developed and defended bachelor's thesis in accordance with the approved topic.

Description of the organization and tasks of students’ independent work

Independently searches the literature, formulates the design task, develops the details of construction and manufacturing technology, performs the necessary engineering and engineering economic calculations, designs the bachelor's thesis in accordance with the Design Methodological Regulations for the development and defense of bachelor's theses

Criteria for Evaluating Learning Outcomes

Evaluated with a mark, minimum successful mark 4. The work is exhibited and defended in accordance with the quality requirements defined in the Methodological Regulations for the development and defense of bachelor's theses.
