Course abstract

The aim of course is to provide set of practical skills of casting and forging in machinery engineering; processing types and products; Welding process and equipment for electrical, gas and pressure welding, technology and materials: theory of material cutting process; metal cutting machinery, equipment, tools and technology.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

Knowledge about the hot and cold metalworking technological processes, equipment and tools;
Skills to rationally select treatment process, equipment, tools;
Competence in evaluating efficiency of metalworking technological processes.
