Course abstract

During the professional practice, students to do individual practice task assigned by the supervisor in farms of agriculture animal/ companies / organizations (place of practice). Student deepened the practical skills for different animal and poultry breeds assessment for productivity, exterior features and solution of feeding technology. In place of practice they get information about the raise tasks in the program of course content.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

After completing the practice student will have:
• knowledge about technologies of breeding, feeding and holding the various animal of agriculture. The content of the practice report shows the student's general knowledge of the agriculture industry and profession.
• can to analyse information about productivity indicators, compliance with welfare norms and production quality requirements the animals of agriculture. The work done during the practice is evidenced by the correct analysis of the summarized data in the practice report and presentation content.
• competently to discuss about professional questions related to the characteristics of breeding, feeding and holding the animals of agriculture. The content of the practice reports and presentation shows the competence of the students to collect information about the obtained data.

Course Content(Calendar)

1. Production of animal husbandry and analysis of its indicators assessment.
2. Evaluation and breeding of animal.
3. Housing and feeding of animal.

Requirements for awarding credit points

A test. Successfully completed program of practice, where must to submit a final report and a review from the practice supervisor. The final evaluation for practice consists by final report, a presentation and a discussion about agriculture industry and profession.

Description of the organization and tasks of students’ independent work

To independently carry out practice tasks. Practice report processing. The final report shall be placed in e-studies and after acceptance receipt shall be submitted in printed form.

Criteria for Evaluating Learning Outcomes

The evaluation of the practice is based on prepared and submitted the quality of the practice report, presentation and discussion defence during of the practice.
