Course abstract

The aim of the study course is to present the normative documents of technological design domestic animal farms, most characteristic constructions of cages, pens, boxes stands and their location in barns, the technological equipment selection principles and methods of technological line design, development of animal farm planning, including design of auxiliary rooms and development of situation plan.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

• Knowledge - on milk, meat and egg production modern technologies, their application in production object up-dating projects.
• Skills - to design technological solutions for milk, meat and egg production farms considering the technical and technology development trends and requirements of normative acts.
• Competence - to obtain knowledge and skills that are necessary for a specialist of agriculture concerned with development of animal breeding product production technologies and mechanization.
