Course abstract

The object and environment of operation of agricultural machinery. Theoretical basis of operation of soil tillage. Calculation and theory of planting machines, sowing machines, sprayers and fertilizers. Theory and calculation of grain crop and of technical plant harvesting machines. Calculation and theory. Theory and calculation of sorting machines. Insight in machine testing.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

• Knowledge of theoretical fundamentals of agricultural machinery operation.
• Skills to build the machine operation parts and to evaluate the rejections based on the knowledge of the theoretical principles.
• Competence in technical, technological and conformity assessment of agricultural machinery, which is based on the theoretical understanding of construction and operation.
