Course abstract

Agronomic and technical prerequisites of plant fertilisation. Organic manure, fertilisers, green manure. Agronomic and physical – mechanical quality of them. Machinery and technology of fertilisation. Construction, operation, adjustment of machinery on field. Unequal dispersal of fertilisers. Environmental protection and working safety.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

• Knowledge -to explain the essence and necessity for plant fertilizing and protection, to orientate in the offer of machinery for plant fertilizing and protection and the applied technologies.
• Skills – to evaluate the technical and technological possibilities of plant fertilizing and protection machinery, to substantiate the most appropriate solution of the problem.
• Competence - the acquired knowledge and skills give a possibility to know competently issues of plant fertilizing and protection mechanization and machinery for implementation.
