Course abstract

The aim of the study course is to inform the students about the production technology of the most important raw materials of animal breeding origin for food analyzing the factors forming the quality of these products, to acquaint the students with primary processing of animal breeding products: milk, eggs, and assessment of their quality in the stage production.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

After acquisition of the course the students will have:
• Knowledge - about the technological processes of milk, meat and egg production as well as about ensuring of the quality of these products using up-dated technology and technical equipment.
• Skills - to know the production processes of raww materials for food, to evaluate their procedure and conditions at what high production results can be achieved.
• Competence - knowledge and skills are acquired that are necessary for engineers at food production enterprises responsible for improvement of the technological process and ensuring of the quality of the produced products.
