Course abstract

The aim of the study course is to present the structure and operation of animal feed distribution equipment, water supply systems and equipment, manujre removal solutions, farm microclimate providing systems and ventilation equipment.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

• Knowledge - on construction and operation of modern animal breeding machinery, technological systems used in animal feed distribution, water supply for animals, manure removal and storage, providing of microclimate. • Skills - to evaluate different animal breeding technological dev ices and machines according to their construction and constructive solution as well as elaborate engineering calculations designing new or developing the existing animal breeding machinery.
• Competence - toacquire knowledge and skills that are necessary for an engineer concerned with up-dating of animal breeding technology and mechanization.
