Course abstract

The aim of the study course is to present designing of food production equipment and machines, including sorters and cleaners of pouring products, sorters of liquid and coarse disperse products, product choppers, grain husk removers and grinders, product amount meters and flow meters, product mixers, packing preparation and final product packing equipment.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

• Knowledge - on constructive solutions of food product production technological equipment and theoretical principles of their operation.
• Skills – to elaborate new or developed constructions of engineering calculation and economic evaluation for food production technological equipment.
• Competence – knowledge and skills that are necessary for improvement and modernization of the construction of food production equipment.
