Course abstract

Students acquire understanding of the concept of land use. Study course provides insight and knowledge on land use and protection conditions in the territory of municipality, the supervision of municipality’s land, the land management of municipality owned and legal possession lands, as well as monitoring of degraded territories and prevention measures of degradation in the territory of municipality.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

After completing the study course student will have:
• knowledge – on legal aspects of land use in the municipality, as well as land use and protection conditions;
• skills – practically use acquired knowledge in land management of territory of municipality;
• competence – independent access, select and analyze information and data, and use the acquired theoretical knowledge and practical skills engaging in the monitoring process of territory of municipality.
