Students acquire the modern functioning in Latvia land administration system necessary for land management professionals, its objectives and tasks. The program provides an insight into actions and measures of land policy promoting sustainable land use and protection. The program focuses on broad-based sustainable land administration, efficient and effective monitoring of use and protection of the land. Knowledge on land administration is necessary for land management professionals working at different levels.
After completing the course student will have:
• knowledge and critical understanding on land administration theory and practice, its nature and content, rational and efficient monitoring, use and protection of the land;
• skills without assistance to perform land administration activities at national and local municipality level;
• competence in collaboration with supervisor of study course to manage assessment and prevention of land administration problems.
