Course abstract

The aim of the study course is to learn and apply theory about parameters, analysis, response on external signal and application of analogous and digital electronic elements and circuits. Collection and analysis of the literature necessary for completion of the course project help students to learn to orient both in theoretical literature and technical documentation of electronic elements and circuits.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

Knowledge - knows analogue and digital electronic circuits, applications of them, principles of operation and analysis – development and defense of course paper.
Skills - ability to study and analyze electronic circuits; to recognize typical circuits; to make engineering calculations of electronic circuits; to justify the advantages of proposed solutions – development and defense of course paper.

Competence - to understand technical parameters of electronic elements, to suggest improvements and new ways in the use of standard electronic circuits in applied energetics and other fields; to use simulation and CAD software in development of electrical circuits – development and defense of course paper.
