Course abstract

Engineering considers chemical energy of full and this transformation by heat energy then mechanics energy, study heat engineering properties of materials, and heat production, transformation and equipment construction. Heat Engineering is explained in all national economy.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

After completing the course student will have:
knowledge on basic principles of heat production, and their use in industry;
skills to perform calculations of heat equipment, selecting appropriate heating units;
competence to argument selection of operational parameters of heat equipment, to explain safety and exploitation requirements.
