Course abstract

Approaches and core principles for successful sales process of merchandise goods and cost reduction in the environs of globalization, specialization and fierce competition in economics. Provision of operational steps, elements and components within the marketing strategy. Organizing of supply by adjusting it to more complete fulfillment of consumers needs. Establishment of distribution channels, selection of their participants and service providers. Importance of servicing in logistics and marketing. Objectives and methods of stock management. Flow of information in distribution channels.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

Knowledge on the contemporary logistics and marketing concepts in the environs of international business globalization. Profound knowledge on the types of logistics operations. Understanding of using different principles of logistics in various branches of economics. Skills - able to independently analyze and evaluate the set of factors constituting the internal and external business environments and having the impact on logistics systems and components. Capable to reasonably explain the basic type of logistics operations and ways of providing logistics operations in the realm of integrated marketing. Able to identify and apply new approaches to solving traditional issues of logistics and marketing. Competence - able to independently formulate and critically analyze complex situations in the integrated logistics and marketing, to substantiate own conclusions and express the proposals for solving the problems.
