Course abstract
Subject imparts knowledge about finance management, it studies the purpose of finances management, structure, the function and action of a finance director. The course deals with possibilities of financing with own or borrowed capital. Students master a financial analysis of balance statement by paying attention to the goal of using analysis data. It obtains apprehension about choise of financial resources, financial planning and assessment of paying capacity. It obtains practical skills in financial planning and analysis.
Learning outcomes and their assessment
After completing the course student will have:• knowledge about purpose, tasks, functions (financial analysis, financial planning, capital management etc.) of financial management and activity of financial management;• skills can use functions of financial management. Students are able to analyse financial situation of society/institution, to definē funding sources, to schedule loan repayment rate, to make plan of cash flow and to assess the potential financial risks;• attitude understanding about the ability of financial management and necessity to cooperate with administration and staff for planning and improving activity of society/institution is formed.• competences understanding about inclusion in organisational structure of society/institution of financial management and about activity of financial management and making decision is obtained.
