The acquired knowledge and skills are necessary for the development and design of study papers, as well as for the performance of professional activities.
Knowledge of using word processing programs and extending the usability of application software packages using Visual Basic for Applications. Knowledge is assessed in Test 3.
Skills to analyze and evaluate the information relevant to the problem to be solved and to process data using appropriate software. Skills are assessed in practical works and tests 1 and 2.
Competences to independently acquire, select and analyze information and, using information technology, to make decisions and solve problems in the field of one's professional activity. Competences are assessed in tests 1 and 2.
1. Formula and form creation, document design (Lecture - 1 h, practical work - 3 h).
2. Use, modification and definition of styles in designing large documents (Lecture - 1 h, practical work - 3 h).
3. Insert bookmarks. Automatic numbering of figures and tables, insertion of references in the document (Lecture - 1 h, practical work - 3 h).

6. Record, edit, and use macros in a word processing application (Lecture - 1 h, practical work – 3 h).
7. Record, edit, and use macros in the presentation application (Lecture - 1 h, practical work - 2 h).
8. Creation and use of user functions in calculations. (Lecture - 1 h, practical work - 3 h).
Exam.
The exam evaluation consists of:
• all practical works have been developed;
• Three tests have been successfully written - Test 1: Using a word processing application; Test 2: Creating macros and user functions. 3. Test: Test on the considered theoretical questions.
Each test is evaluated in a 10-point system.
Preparation for practical work and tests.
The evaluation of the study course exam depends on the cumulative evaluation of the tests. The exam mark is the arithmetic mean between the grades of the tests.
