Course abstract

The aim of the internship is to give the student the opportunity to strengthen theoretical knowledge, practical work skills, learn the latest technologies and methods in the chosen field of specialization, get acquainted with production organization and planning, as well as collect relevant thematic materials for diploma project development.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

1. Manages production organization and planning, specifics of work in the chosen field of specialization - defense of practice
2. Is able to perform production tasks - defense of practice

3. Is able to orientate in current tasks of production works in the chosen field of specialization of land management and land surveying - defense of practice

Course Content(Calendar)

Full-time studies:
1. Arrival at the internship place, acquaintance with the internship company.
2. Performance of internship duties is assigned under the guidance of the internship supervisor.
3. Collection and compilation of diploma project materials, data.
4. Submission of the practice report and presentation to the department and defense

Part-time studies:

All topics specified for full-time studies are implemented, but the number of contact hours is 1/2 of the specified number of hours

Requirements for awarding credit points

The test mark for professional practice consists of:
• Developed and submitted a practice report
• Feedback from the practice manager in the company
• Prepared presentation and report
A test with a mark on professional practice is received after the defense report has been defended at a commission approved by the Head of the Department.

Description of the organization and tasks of students’ independent work

The student must independently complete the internship program, including the completion of individual tasks and the preparation of the internship report, presentation and report.
In consultation with the diploma project manager, the student must summarize the obtained materials during the internship for the development of the chosen diploma project topic.

Criteria for Evaluating Learning Outcomes

The evaluation of the internship test depends on the content of the internship report, which includes a description of the internship company, description of the tasks performed, description of the obtained materials corresponding to the diploma project topic, as well as feedback from the internship manager and internship presentation performance.
