Course abstract

Study course gives an insight into studies as a learning process, aims, objectives and structure of the Latvian University of Agriculture, introduces with the regulatory documents and study base of LUA. The course provides information about the Faculty of Rural Engineering, its structure and traditions, gives an overview of the city of Jelgava, Latvia University of Agriculture and the castle's history. After the end of the course student will have:
• knowledge of university studies, land use planning specialty and its challenges, job opportunities of graduates;
• skills to prepare and design works of studies, find catalogues, and work with information sources;
• competence in land use planning specialty core tasks and in their learning.
