Course abstract

The structure and processing of scientific work is discussed. Description and analysis of experimental works as well as selection and argumentation of mathematical models is discussed consistent with Master Thesis. The skills of summarisation and assessment of scientific results are acquired.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

• Knowledge about research methods and analysis of results.
• Skills to perform experimental and analytical investigations.
• Competence to formulate research task, perform investigations, choose method of numerical analysis and evaluate the acquired results.
