Course provides theoretical and practical insight into the cartography industry. Students are introduced to the history and development of cartography until today, maps mathematical justification, mapping principles, technologies, methodologies and usage. In the laboratory students are acquired practical introduced skills to draw up variety of maps and related digital data sets and use its results.
• Knowledge of the cartography, mapping methodologies and its using in practice;
• Skills - acknowledges to read and use the analog and ectronic maps drawing up processes a variety of maps, practical skills to use the analog and electronic maps and in drawing up processes a variety of maps;
• Competence to assess rationally the methodology for mapping according to objectives of the designed map and realized it in practice. Practical realisation simple cartographics products.
