Students will acquire understanding of the global position development, nature and content. Acquire formation of the global position and principles of operation. Devices who has use in global positioning, method of measurements, computerized processing date of measurements, assessment accuracy. Application in GIS, cartography, building and another’s sectors of national economy.GPS,GLONASS,GALILEO

Learning outcomes and their assessment

• knowledge and critical understanding of global positioning nature and content, GNSS application possibilities and obtained results use for specific tasks performance
• skills independently carry out the condition assessment of resulting task, apply the acquired solution methods for various types of surveying tasks
• competence to organize a global positioning measurements according to the requirements, carry out the obtained results processing and evaluation, be able to detect and avoid possible measurement errors.
