Course abstract

Execution design of earth works is elaborated – performance of the surface floating of the construction site and excavation of foundation pit is elaborated, as well as the technological map for both processes is developed. Optimal machine kit for execution of the works is to be found and a calendar schedule of the works is developed.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

Knowledge: By developing of the study course student gains knowledge about principles of the technological design of construction site processes and drafting of the management plan of construction site processes. Knowledge is evaluated in the course of presentation of the term paper. Skills: to be able to select the appropriate method of execution of construction operations as well as draw up an execution documents and work performance design for small construction work. Skills are evaluated in the course of presentation of the term paper. Competence: be competent of the regulatory framework for construction site activities, including the production rate documents, to choose appropriate technical means for execution of works.
Competence is evaluated by assessment of Explanatory note of the term paper.
