The aim of the subject: to gain the ability in technical manner of thinking, to introduce the schemes using in machinery, to master the technical literature. Students learn classification of building machinery, different types of drive system forms, their advantages and disadvantages, the principal machine diagrams, drawings and cuts. More attention is paid to the hydraulic and electro-mechanical devices and transmission, mechanized tools, concrete works machinery and hand tools, which can be used for the execution of the work, taking into account technological features.
• Knowledge about classification of building machinery, different types of drive system forms, functioning and operating principles, operational specifics. Laboratory work defense. Examination.
• Skills to identify principled machine diagrams, drawings and cuts, on individual nodes and using profiles, see their advantages and disadvantages. Laboratory work defense. Examination.
• Competence in field of construction equipment options in construction machinery wide range of choices. Laboratory work defense. Examination.
1. Mechanical drive, its transmission types. 2. Hydraulic drive, its elements, their design, technical characteristics. 3. Pneumatic drive unit, structural features of elements and assemblies. 4. Methods for calculating the productivity of construction machinery. Innovations in construction machinery and construction technology exhibition.
The student has developed and defended all the laboratory work in the required amount and quality in response to the questions asked by the lecturer;
• the student attended at least 75% of the lectures;
• The student has presented the records of the construction engineer created in the study process with concise notes on the topics acquired in the study course.
Independently prepare the protocols of the laboratory work with theoretical justification, calculate the tasks on the topic of the work and prepare for the defence of the work.
There are 9 laboratory reports that are presented graphically and with task calculations, as well as the student's ability to defend them orally. The oral test successfully answers 3 questions about the removed substance.
