Course abstract

Subject of study for students of in-depth knowledge of the history of building acoustics and its basic principles, technical options and solutions for its improvement, technical acoustics and building acoustics, noise prediction spread in buildings and structures. Students learn equipment, construction and finishing acoustic selection and calculation principles.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

After studying the course the student will have a sound:
• Knowledge of the processes in different environments.
• Skills for the calculation of building acoustics, room acoustics, sound isolation and environmental acoustics, to respect and apply the acoustics of regulatory documents, the use of acoustics terminology.
• Competence acoustic measurement bases and computer simulations of the acoustic problem.
