Course abstract
The main task of building is development of people life and work environment. Introduction with real projects; designe of houses , documentation and drawing. Understanding of building process. Chronological sequence of building work.Building materials, technologies. Elementery calculations of strength, functional use of materials and calculation of energy efficacions. Practically students work aut design for living hause.Consult local and national standards for ground descriptions, classification of earthworks, ground water conditions necessary foundation depths.
Learning outcomes and their assessment
• Course develops knowledge and understanding of conceptual foundation of building process, building materials, details, contents of projects, drawing design; gives students theoretical and practical issues of draft design houses.
• Course enables students to make construction drawings, critical evaluate building details, functional use of materials and calculations of strength and energy efficacions.
• Course elaborates competence to evaluate funkcional meaning of human environment and elements, evaluate affordable building materials and constructions; to make simple calculation of bearning and exsternal constructions.
