The aim of the study course is to acquire the necessary knowledge to work with the 3D modeling program SketchUp Pro. The course includes the possibilities provided by SketchUp Pro for modeling of outdoor elements, buildings, relief, development and presentation of landscape architecture projects of various complexity, as well as the possibilities provided by SketchUp LayOut program.
1. Knowledge: students gain knowledge about 3D modeling and the possibilities provided by the SketchUp program. Practical work No. 1-4.
2. Skills: Students are able to create models of outdoor elements, buildings, terrain, landscape architecture projects of different complexity and present them with the help of SketchUp program. Practical work No. 1-4.
3. Competence: to competently apply the possibilities provided by the SketchUp program in the development of landscape architecture projects. Practical work No. 1-4.
1. Introduction to using Google SketchUp, graphical interface. Navigation tools. Drawing tools. Construction tools. Importing, exporting and saving files (3h).
2.SketchUp modeling basics. Modification tools. Grouping of objects and creation of components (3h).
3. Object modeling techniques (3h).
4. Practical work no. 1 (3h).

16. Presentation and defense of practical works (3h)
Class attendance not less than 75%. Independent works have been developed, submitted and positively evaluated in due time. For works submitted after the specified time (if there is no justifiable reason), the mark is reduced by 1 point.
Development of independent works, study of materials in e-studies and computer classroom. Developed 3D models for outdoor elements, garden landscaping and relief. Practical work No. 1. Creating a 3D model for an outdoor element. Digital submission of 3D model and visual graphic image. Practical work No. 2. Creating a 3D model for garden improvement. Digital submission of 3D model and visual graphic image. Practical work No. 3. Creating a 3D model for terrain. Digital submission of 3D model and visual graphic image. Practical work No. 4. Development of a territory improvement model. Digital submission of 3D model and visual graphic image.
The evaluation of the study course depends on the evaluations of practical work.
